As those in the community ask for ways to support golf at Augustana University, we are kicking off a first of its kind fundraising campaign to generate support for our program! Our golf teams spend countless hours preparing to be the best they can be and with your support we strongly feel we can elevate these athletes and our golf program to a new level!
You often hear the word “opportunity” when hearing from Augustana Athletics. It’s a word we use a lot when speaking with our student teams at Augustana. The goal of the university is to offer all students the opportunity to have a life-changing experience as a Viking and we want the same for our Augie golf teams!
While these are just the essentials for our golf teams to compete, we are hopeful to expand our fundraising efforts beyond the basics! Imagine a premier golf program at Augustana University where golfers have access to state-of-the-art training and practice facilities! Our long-term goal is to continue fundraising efforts and focus on elevating Augustana Golf as a premier college golf program not only in South Dakota, but in the Midwest. Let’s be honest, South Dakota is not known as a destination for warm sunny golf vacations, but we have a unique opportunity to build and establish a nationally sought after program with the right support! Augustana University is a nationally recognized university, and we want to elevate that same recognition to the men’s and women’s golf program!
